Which Personality Match?

This quiz was going around on Twitter so of course I had to check it out:

It matches your personality to that of fictional characters. The answers I gave are my own but here is the top 70% matches. I wanted to list the top 50 matches, but Dumbledore was 51, so I had to include more.

I’m not familiar with all of the shows included in the list but the ones I do know, I’m glad I’m similar to those, like Luna Lovegood and Georgiana Darcy. I understand why Raj Koothrappali is so high. And even Jane Bennet gets 76%. I love all of these characters and there are definitely moments when I can relate to them.

Does this give you an idea of what my personality is? Any surprises or totally not surprised? What’s your highest match?

Thanks for the link. I just took the test and got the extremely disappointing top result of… Lady Sybil Crawley (Downton Abbey) 87%. Great – a character I have never heard of in a show I have never watched. Could literally not mean less!

Runner up is another character I have never heard of in another IP about which I know nothing – Goh Peik Lin (Crazy Rich Asians) 83%.

The first character i actually know comes in third – Luna Lovegood! 82%. I like Luna and I’m very happy with that comparison. Not sure I’m quite as scatty as all that but still.

From the Potterverse I also come in sxth as… Dumbledore! With 81%. Not sure how anyone could be both Luna and Dumbledore to a variance of 1% but hey, I’ll take it.

An awful lot of the characters are from IPs I am totally unfamiliar with, which kind of makes the whole thing feel a bit vague. It’s very funny when i hit someone I do recognize, though. I mean, if I was going to pick the character I was most like in Parks and Recreations it would bloody well not be Tom Haverford (obviously it would be April Ludgate – I assume everyone would want to be April, the same way everyone would want to be Willow…).

Anyway, good fun. I might get a post out of this too.

I love Lady Sybil! She’s one of my favourite characters on the show. But I get that the test is only interesting if you know the characters. I don’t think I know half of the ones on my list lol. Maybe it’s time to expand my binge watching to other genres.

Top result for mine was Bruce Banner from MCU. Hulk smash! I don’t know the next couple of names: Leonard Hofstadter, Daniel Jackson, Amy Farrah Fowler and Willow Rosenberg, but from Wikipedia, I guess they are all somewhat geeky and intellectual and ever so slightly weird, awkward or quirky. Which isn’t half bad a match.

I like that a lot of characters pop up that one does relate a lot to. Some notables 8. Lucius Fox (Dark Knight), 10. Tyrion Lannister, 13 Gandalf, 17 Dumbledore, 19 Dr Strange, 20 Dexter Morgan (look out, world, hehehe). Simon Tam, Mycroft Holmes, Hermione Granger, Remus Lupin all turn up in the 30-40s.

I have no idea how Obi-Wan Kenobi and C-3PO turned up at 51 and 52 respectively with zero % variance. Apparently I am a quirky droid that dispenses wise advice. Hmm. Maybe it’s more accurate than I thought.

Sounds like an awesome list 😄 Leonard and Amy are both from the big bang theory, both characters I like a lot.
